Dr. Umar Alisha is a great Sufi Master. He was born to Supreme Saint Sri Mohiddin Badsha-II
Sathguru and Smt Fatima Jaharunnisa Begum on 31-1-1966 . He has completed, Secondary education
from R.R .Bh. R. High school, Pithapuram and Intermediate education from Government Junior College,
Rajahmundry.
He completed his B.H.M.S (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from Dr. Gururaju Government
Homeopathic Medical College, Gudivada and M.D. (A.M.) from Calcutta.
Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham
is a theosophical congregation based on the principles
of Oneness of God, and discovering Divinity in the Self. Dr Umar Alisha is the 9th Head of this
535 years old Institution.
Dr Umar Alisha believes that Service to humanity is service to God, and Spiritual practice
without selfless service to humanity has very little meaning. With that idea he has established
Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust in year 2000. Through this trust all the social service
activities are being taken up. Rural development is the backbone of National Development.
If the Rural areas are stooped in darkness, ignorance, poverty and illiteracy the Country
will be suffering from all these maladies. So this trust is working at grass root level to
bring overall development of the rural areas.
Dr Ramineni Foundation U.S.A has recognized the efforts of Dr Umar Alisha in the fields of Social
service and Spirituality and awarded him the Visesha Puraskaram at Hyderabad in 2006.
