Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust Celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY |

On the occasion of WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust has
organised the following
Pithapuram:

Dr Umar Alisha addressed the spiritual gathering At Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya
Adhyatmika Peetham , on Thursday on the eve of World Environment Day appealed to
participate in the Umar Alisha Environment Protection Rally and also asked each
one of them to plant at least one plant to protect the environment.
05-06-2009:
Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust organised Umar Alisha Environment Protection
Rally. This rally was flagged off by Dr Umar Alisha, Chairman , UARDT. Plants
were planted in the premises of the government offices and Government general
hospital. Plants were also distributed during the procession. On this occasion
Dr Umar Alisha said that “ every one should plant trees which are fruit bearing
/ flower bearing / shade giving at every house. These plants take up the carbon
dioxide released by Human beings an make their required food by the way of
photosynthesis and release oxygen. So we need to identify the intimacy between
plants and Human beings. The environment is getting spoiled due to release of
various unwanted gases and causing serious disasters. For this Plants are the
only Rescue”. This programme was convened by Dr Ananda Kumar Pingali,
Sectretary, UARDT. In this Programme P.Suribabu , Treasurer, UARDT, Ch.Appa Rao,
Coordinator, Akshara Jyothi, UARDT and other trust volunteers and members of Sri
Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham have participated. |

Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust organised Umar Alisha Environment Protection
Rally. This rally was flagged off by Prof. Dr N.B.Tammiraju, Retd, of Acharya NG
Ranga Agricultural University. The Rally was organised from Gosala ( Lower tank
Bund) to Indira Park. In this Programme Smt. K.Suryalatha, Coordinator (Health)
, Smt Y. Padmaja, Coordinator( Fund Raising), Smt K.Rajeswari, Coordinator(
Environment Protection) , Smt M.Prabhavathi, Member, UARDT and other trust
volunteers and members of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham have
participated.
