Spectacles were distributed by
Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust on 28-07-2011
in the premises of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham, (Old Ashram premises),
Pithapuram Godavari District.
As a part of the eye testing done at 18th mega Medical Camp organized on 17-07-2011,
173 patients were diagnosed as requiring spectacles. Those patients were distributed
spectacles free of cost by Dr Umar Alisha, Chairman , UARDT.
Medical reports were also distributed to 250 patients who underwent thyroid profile
testing and 30 patients who underwent lipid profile tests.
22 patients who underwent cataract were examined and given eye drops.
In this Camp Dr Ananda Kumar Pingali , P. Kalikimurthy, T Venkateswara Rao, Satyanarayana
and other members of the trust have participated and rendered their services.
