World Environment Day celebrated at Visakhapatnam

Umar Alisha rural Development trust has celebrated The World Environment Day on
05.06.2011 at Visakhapatnam on this occasion a rally was organized from RK Beach
to VUDA Park to create awareness on Environment Protection.
The Rally was flagged off by Mr.D.S.N.Raju, Associate Director, Dr.Reddy Labs.
In this programme trust Secretary Dr.Ananda Kumar Pingali said “The Environment is being polluted by the usage of
plastic bags and material. So, everyone must cultivate the habit of using paper
bags in place of plastic on order to save the Environment”.
Trust volunteers have participated in this rally.
