Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust organized a Project for Prevention of
Chikungunya in which we conducted 47 free Medical camps and 1, 51,119 people were
benefited. We used Eupatorium perfoliatum 200 as preventive for all cases.We treated
the affected victims with Eupatorium 200,Gelsemium 200,Bryonia 200 and Rhus Tox
200 . For reactive arthritis we used Bryonia 200, Chamomilla 200 and Rhus tox 1M. |

In view of the escalating epidemic, the Medical Tsunami – ChikunGunya, Umar Alisha
Rural Development Trust, Pithapuram, a Non Governmental Voluntary Organization at
Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA (Regd No: 19/ 2000), has organized six free Homoeopathic
Medical Camps in various parts of Andhra Pradesh , India.
Free services offered in these camps are:
- Free Preventive Homoeopathic Medicine Distribution for the healthy people.
- Free Homoeopathic Treatment for Chikungunya & other Fevers.
- Free Homoeopathic Treatment for people suffering with after fever effects i.e. joint
pains, headache etc.
Total beneficiaries of the medical camps - 32,089
These camps were conducted to create awareness among the public about the disease
and to create awareness about the Scope of Homoeopathy in the prevention and Treatment
of Chikungunya. The people were ad
vised to take
mosquito eradication measures and
maintain good sanitation, and consume the Homoeopathic Medicine - Eupatorium Perf
200, 4 pills per day for 3 days which helps as a prophylactic. They have been emphasized
that Homoeopathic medicine is giving good results for chikungunya fever and also
for post fever arthritis.
The trust chairman Dr Umar Alisha proposed to conduct many more camps through out
the state, of Andhra Pradesh for the benefit of the suffering humanity.

Hall, Durga Nagar in Gajuwaka on Tuesday. Over 800 persons were examined and given
medicines for chikungunya and other diseases free of cost. The trust has so far
conducted camps at Secunderabad, Pithapuram, Bheemunipatnam, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam
and Tagarapuvalasa.

on Sunday, 2/7/06 from 8am to 5pm. In this camp the team of doctors Dr. Ananda Kumar
Pingali, M.D., Visakhapatnam & Dr G. Chandra Sekhara Rao, M.D, Hyderabad, Dr
B. Ravi Kumar, M.D, Hyderabad have participated and rendered their services. In
this camp 148 of ChikunGunya fever cases have been treated and 1792 people were
given prophylactic medicines for ChikunGunya Fever. Total of 1940 people have benefited
from this camp. The frequently indicated remedies for the treatment of fevers were
Eupatorium Perf, Rhus Tox, Bryonia, Ars Alb, and Gelsemium. There was a very good
response from the public for preventive medicine. The advantage of using homeopathic
medicines for therapeutic and prophylactic purpose was emphasized. Since this disease
is transmitted by the mosquito Aedes Egypti, the people were educated regarding
the vector control measures. Smt Rajeswari, Smt Padmaja & Smt Anita Sinha and
other members of the trust have volunteered and rendered their services.

FREE MEDICAL CAMPS : The Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust
Pithapuram in association with the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Peripheral Development
department organised two free homeopathic medical camps for chikungunya and other
fevers at the community welfare centres in Aganampudi and Vadlapudi on Sunday, and
another
on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital near Zilla Parishad Junction.
Specialist in homeopathic medicine Dr. Ananda kumar Pingali rendered his services
at the program. VSP Town Administration DGM S.R. Mallikarjuna Rao and Administrator
of St. Joseph's Hospital, Sister Clare, inaugurated the camps.

Homeo Medical Camp held at Secunderabad
Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust has conducted a free Homeo medical
camp at Subhash Nagar, Secunderabad. A team of doctors consisting of Dr. Ananda
Kumar Pingali, Dr. B. Chandrasekhar Rao, Dr. B. Ravi Kumar treated 48 Chikungunya
and other viral fever cases and distributed preventive medicine to 1892 persons.
The doctors team advised the people to take preventive measures like sanitation
too, along with preventive medicine, to save themselves from Chikungunya. Mrs. Rajeswaramma,
Mrs. Padmavathi, Mrs. Anitha Sinha extended local support.

Homoeopathy tackles Chikgunya

conducted in which preventive medicines were given to around 50,000-population and

Free Medical camp for Chikungunya
PITHAPURAM. JULY.13. Free Homoeopathic Medical Camp
was organized by Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust for the Chikhun Gunya. A team
of doctors Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali, Dr R. Ammaji, D.H.M.S, P Dr L. Srinivasa Rao,
B.H.M.S, and Dr. B. Jaganmohan Rao, treated 2348 Chikungunya and other pyrexia of
unknown origin cases. The team offered medicines as prophylatic to ChikunGunya for
12995 persons. 15343 people have benefited from this camp.The remedies indicated
for treatment and prophylaxis are Eupatorium Perf, Rhus Tox, Bryonia, Ars Alb, and
Gelsemium. The team confessed that homoeopathic medicines had proved their efficacy
in treating theses epidemic out burst and very successful in prevention.
