Village development is the backbone of National Development. If the Villages
are stuped in darkness, ignorance, poverty and illiteracy the Country will be suffering from all these maladies. Hence, UARDT is putting forth all its might to implement
literacy, health, and self-sufficiency programmes by the active participation and
also in various Government developmental activities. To adopt the same in
remote villages which are neglected and forsaken and far fluing due to lack of Communication
facilities etc., UARDT has taken up the task of improving Venkayyapalem Village
in Visakha District
as a Model village by stages.
